Simpson Strong-Tie TB54 Installation Overview
- Support floor joists with bridging at intervals not exceeding 8'.
- Install on 2x8 or larger joists for spans greater than 8'.
- Use more than one pair for spans greater than 16'.
- Install bridging tightly to prevent floor movement.
- Use two 0.148" x 1 1/2" fasteners per end.
