Simpson Strong-Tie TC26 Description
The TC26 Galvanized Truss Connector is designed for securing scissor trusses to top plates or sill plates, providing resistance against uplift forces and allowing horizontal movement up to 1 1/4".

Simpson Strong-Tie TC26 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
- Drive 0.148" x 3" nails into the truss at the inside end of the slotted holes, leaving room under the nail head for movement.
- After roofing materials installation, nails may need to be fully seated as required by the designer.
- Optional installation involves bending one flange up 90° and driving specified nails or screws into the top and face of the plates or masonry wall.
