Simpson Strong-Tie TC28 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
- Drive 0.148" x 3" nails into the truss at the inside end of the slotted holes.
- Allow room under the nail head for movement of the truss.
- After roofing materials installation, nails may need to be fully seated.
- Optional installation involves bending one flange up 90° and driving specified nails into the top and face of the top plates.
