Description
Tempo T23424OL-APC Description
A Quad Two-Way Optical Loss Test set / OLTS fiber tester that’s perfect for medium to ultra high fiber count loss, length & optical return loss testing applications on both multimode and single mode fiber with APC connectors on both ports at 850 / 1330nm 1310/1550 nm. A pair of these compact SM & MM instruments set new standards of productivity, ultra-stable source accuracy and ease of use. A multimode APC connector on this model is required for reliable ORL test performance. Each fiber needs just one test hook-up and one key press for a complete bidirectional loss, length & ORL test, and the same test method is used for both multimode and single mode fiber, eliminating administration, training and test errors. Testing is accurate and can take only 5 seconds, direct onto flexible standards-compliant Tier 1 certification reports. The optical fiber length measurement feature is accurate, integrated with the other measurements, and requires only one fiber to be hooked up. A pair of instruments both display length, bi-directional loss & ORL each end in real time, with no need to specify master/slave instruments. A single OLTS instrument can also be used as a stand-alone ultra-stable light source, power meter, ORL meter or tone generator / detector.
